Installation of the last deck of “İzmit Bay Crossing Bridge”, considered as the most important crossing point of Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Motorway project which will reduce the road travel time between İstanbul and İzmir to 3.5 hours, and inauguration of Altınova-Gemlik Motorway section have been made with the participation of Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the Republic, Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, the Prime Minister, and Mr. Binali Yıldırım, the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications of Republic of Turkey, and the bridge has been given the name of Osman Gazi, the founder of the Ottoman Empire.

Dalaman Hilton Sarıgerme Resort & Spa was officially launched with a splendid ceremony attended by Ertuğrul Günay, Minister of Culture and Tourism.

On 27 September 2010, agreement was signed with the Nurol-Özaltın-Makyol-Astaldi-Yüksel-Göçay Group, which was awarded the contract of the Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir (İzmit Gulf Passage Bridge and Access Roads included) at the General Directorate of Highways.

The Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir (İzmit Gulf Passage and Access Roads included) was held with the attendance of Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Prime Minister, on 28 October 2010 Thursday in Dilovası-Gebze.

Groundbreaking ceremony of the Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Motorway project was held with the attendance of Mr. Binali Yıldırım, the Minister of Transportation, on 27 February 2011, in İzmir.

Signing ceremony of the Contract for İzmit Bay Suspension Bridge Contract, the most important part of the Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Motorway Project, was held.

Parties signed for the the largest Project massive financing loan so far today in Turkey.
